Heart Attack admissions fall since smoking ban

Since the introduction of the smoking ban in March 2006, Scottish hospitals have seen a 17% reduction in hospital admissions from heart attacks.

Smoking is one of the three main factors for Coronary Heart Disease, along with physical inactivity and an unhealthy diet.
