Info Campaign

Information campaigns can be a great way of increasing awareness of a relevant health topic, and require very little time and effort to set up.

Some ideas of information campaigns you can run are:

  • Resources - Range of women’s health materials available for displays: posters, leaflets etc. ….
  • Payslips – to publicise a women’s health campaign why not print a message on staff payslips.
  • Quirky advertising - Have a progressive campaign to advertise your activities eg: a countdown "Only 1 week to go – International Women’s Day". Put posters in unusual places eg: lifts, windows, or even in the loos.
  • Email messages – send health related messages to staff to back up your campaign.

Other ideas:

  • Leaflet stands
  • Support Zero tolerance campaign
  • Health notice boards
  • Email messages
  • Intranet advertising
  • Screen savers
  • Display lists of local services, agencies, support groups, & phonelines.

Remeber, you can access the wealth of resources available through the Public Education Resource Library (PERL), and your advisor can help you identify the literature that is most relevant for your workplace.
