- Women’s health fair
- Incorporate Women’s issues into your organisation's policies. Examples of policy into practice: Increasing childcare provision, supporting carers of adult dependants, ensuring that women have representation on management meetings, challenging abuse and gender stereotyping, allowing flexible working times.
- Take positive steps to encourage women to seek promotion within organisation
- Develop gender sensitive procedures
- Promote the services offered by the Centre for Women's Health Tel 0141 211 6700. They offer emotional support and/or counselling for women who may be experiencing a wide range of problems or difficulties. The Centre has staff with specific expertise to support people experiencing eating disorders and their carers.
- Conduct an equal pay review to ensure women and men are paid the same for jobs of equal value. See www.closethegap.org.uk
